Ruben Vela is this week’s Golden Apple Award winner!!

Sending warm and summer wishes to our camp counselors, coaches, and teachers!  This week Townsquare Media and Gone Bananas would like to give Ruben Vela at Dyna Energetics the Golden Apple Award! Amy Lopez submitted  Ruben's name.  Here is what she had to say…

Ruben Vela is my daughter's softball coach and has been her coach for the last couple of years now. He has created and built a select team in Victoria county in which we are very limited on girls softball. This team(s) is what Ruben dedicates his off time, weekends, and so on to. He ensures that these young ladies have an opportunity to be exposed to future avenues such as college softball teams. Without this team, my daughter would not have a place or team to play the game that she loves, softball! Ruben has a family and job as well and does this completely on his free time to help our girls become better at the game and have more opportunities.
