Classes for the 22/23 V.I.S.D School Year Starts Sooner Than You Think

Believe it or not, classes will be back in session in about a month and a half. Wow! It seems like the kids just were let out for Summer break.  The 2022-2023 V.I.S.D school year will start on Tuesday, August 9th, 2022. The final day of the school year will be on Thursday, May 25th, 2023. Scroll down below to see when the breaks and days off are, so you can plan accordingly.  We also have the graduation ceremony dates as well.

HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATIONS:

• Liberty Academy Graduation is on Thursday, May 25th, 2023.
• East High School Graduation is on Friday, May, 26th, 2023
• West High School Graduation is on Saturday, May 27th, 2023

DAYS OFF DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR FOR 2022 

• SEPTEMBER 5: LABOR DAY
• OCTOBER 10TH: COLUMBUS DAY
• NOVEMBER 11TH: VETERANS DAY
• NOVEMBER 21ST-25TH: FALL BREAK
• DECEMBER 19 - JANUARY 2ND: CHRISTMAS BREAK

DAYS OFF DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR FOR 2023:

• JANUARY 16TH: MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DAY
• FEBRUARY 20TH: PRESIDENTS DAY
• MARCH 13TH- 17TH SPRING BREAK
• APRIL 7TH: GOOD FRIDAY
• MAY 29TH: MEMORIAL DAY

START TIMES

• Elementary Schools will start at 8 AM and end at 3:15 PM
• Middle School will start at 8:30 and end at 3:45 PM
• High School will start at 7:30 and end at 2:45 PM
