10,000 ducks will be rolling, rolling, rolling down the Guadalupe River for charity on Saturday, November 7th at Pebble Beach in Riverside Park starting at 12 noon during Victoria's FIRST EVER Victoria Duck Safari, thanks to Victoria Symphony, Victoria's Duck Safari headquarters!

So what is Victoria Duck Safari anyway? I am so glad you asked!

Waddle a little closer and I'll tell you all about it!

Imagine THOUSANDS of rubber ducks racing down the Guadalupe all in the name of charity.  A LOT OF CHARITIES ACTUALLY.

Hey, birds of a feather really do flock together!

According to Crossroads Today, the River Duck Safari will benefit Victoria Symphony, Adopt-A-Pet, Hospice of South Texas, The Texas Zoo, The Vine School, Children’s Discovery Museum, Boys & Girls Club, VISD Education Foundation, Promise Pointe, Perpetual Help Home, Salvation Army of Victoria, Nave Museum, YMCA of the Golden Crescent, Meals on Wheels, Victoria Victoria Business and Education Coalition, Mid-Coast Family Services, Victoria Ballet Theatre, Victoria Art League, Golden Crescent Habitat for Humanity, Billy T. Cattan Recovery Outreach, Golden Crescent CASA, Junior League of Victoria, Victoria Bach Festival, Victoria Crime Stoppers, Victoria Rotary Club Museum of the Coastal Bend and Hope of South Texas!

Adopting a duck is easy. Just wing it on over to the Victoria Duck Safari website here and adopt a duck for $5.00 or 25 ducks for $100.00 ALL for a chance to win up to $2,500.00!

The more ducks you adopt the better chances you have to win, and in doing so ALL of the charities listed above have a chance to WIN too! If your duck wins you get to choose which charity will benefit from the 10,000 ducks the Victoria Duck Safari hopes to sell for the event!

Maybe because it's for charity, or maybe because it's just plain FUN... either way, I am proud as Mary about the latest Victoria fundraiser, which truly benefits ALL of these incredible non-profits!

TRY YOUR LUCK AND ADOPT A DUCK TODAY!

After all, like the iconic song, Proud Mary goes, "If you come down to the river, I bet you gonna find some people who live, And you don't have to worry if you got no money, People on the river are happy to give."

Yes, we are.

See you at Victoria Duck Safari!
