One of my favorite events of the season is almost here!

It's the Museum of the Coastal Bend Holiday Artisan Market and it's filled with unique handcrafted gifts for Christmas.

A shopping tradition in our community so filled with fun that shopping at the MCB Holiday Artisan Market can be dangerous!

Shopping local is more important now than ever and if you're a fan of artisan and original gifts, the Museum of the Coastal Bend is the place to be December 1st from 11am am to 6 pm at the MCB located at 2200 East Red River.

MCB Holiday Artisan Market Celebrating its 15 Year!

I've gone for years now and every year there are always new artisans and great new handcrafted gifts.

Now in their 15th year, the CDM Holiday Artisans Market is held inside the galleries at the Museum of the Coastal Bend for your shopping comfort.

Perusing the MCB website, they offer, "Celebrate the holidays with MCB at The Original Artisans Market. Shop handcrafted, one-of-a-kind items from regional artisans and makers.

True Artisan Works! Here is the most current list of vendors but remember, more could be added before the big day!

I love handcrafted art in all forms and one of the biggest selling points for me when it comes to the CDM market is that this event is a curated market which means vendors are carefully chosen to represent only handcrafted artisan products.

Admission is Free

Dubbed as the original artisan market for the Crossroads, the CDM Holiday Market continues to be a free event for the public.

MCB members receive a 10% discount at vendor booths too!

Do you know what else makes great Christmas gifts? Tamales you make on your own! It's not as hard as you might think.
