This one goes into the "I'm not sure how I feel about this" file. Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy for Lady Antebellum and their success. They certainly deserve everything they get. But, as you will see in the details below, this could be a disaster waiting to happen. Lady Antebellum is a very talented group, but I'm not sure that their brand of music is what this crowd will be looking for. What do you think?

Lady Antebellum will open for legendary rocker Bruce Springsteen in London this summer. The country trio will perform before “The Boss” takes the stage at London’s 2012 Hard Rock Calling Music Festival. Due to the high demand for tickets throughout Lady A’s upcoming stint in the U.K., the band has had to upgrade to some larger venues and shift a few dates around. The members of Lady A told CMT Daily Roundup, “The U.K. has been one of those places that have been kind of the biggest responders to our music from a global perspective, so it’s been kind of cool.”  As for opening up for Springsteen, Lady A’s Charles Kelley says “there is no entertainer [they] look up to more than him.”

You can hear Lady Antebellum ebery day on KIXS 108.
