I guess it's to be expected. With larger venues and more people than ever spending their hard earned dollars to purchase tickets to live performances, whatever the size of the venue, records are bound to be broken.

Jason Aldean played to a sold-out show at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena over the weekend. His 2012 My Kinda Party Tour includes Luke Bryan, who says the concert is breaking records at venues across the country. Jason told CMT Daily Roundup, “You know, somebody with the venue, he’ll come up to us and he’s like, ‘Hey, you broke Elvis’ record tonight,’ and stuff like that. You know, anytime you hear that, it’s pretty cool...broke a Garth record not too long ago...broke a Bon Jovi record. So, it’s pretty crazy.” Lauren Alaina also joins Luke on Jason’s tour, which features a DJ to keep the party going between sets with rock and country jams. The 2012 My Kinda Party Tour features a 360-degree stage configuration that allows fans who couldn't get tickets before to purchase a view from the rear of the stage. It took only four minutes for Jason to sell out his May 19th show in Atlanta. A second show had to be added on May 18th due to the overwhelming demand. That show sold out in just a few hours. Jason’s current single, “Fly Over States,” is the fifth off his double-Platinum album My Kinda Party.
