Houston Robber Chased Down and Shot After Stealing BBQ Pit
Over the weekend a Harris County homeowner shot and killed a man after he allegedly stole a BBQ pit from his home early Sunday morning, according to police officials and foxnews.com. An investigation shows that the man that was shot allegedly attempted to steal the shooter’s BBQ pit from his home. After the homeowner discovered that his BBQ grill was stolen. The homeowner left his home and chased down the suspect in his vehicle.
The man told police he believed the driver of the suspected vehicle was possibly in possession of a weapon. The man tells police that hefeared for his own safety and fired his own gun at the suspect, striking him. TX Man Bites Off Piece of Girlfriends Nose After Learning Where She Works
A San Antonio man was arrested after he bit off a piece of his girlfriend’s nose during an argument, San Antonio police say. An affidavit reveals that in July of 2023, David Morin Jr., 34, broke into his girlfriend’s apartment after she ignored his calls.
WHY THE ARGUMENT ESCALATED:
Morin and his girlfriend started to date in December of 2022; however, the affidavit said that Morin took his belongings from the apartment two weeks before the incident. When he returned to the apartment, he noticed some employment papers belonging to his girlfriend.
According to the affidavit Morin and his girlfriend started arguing about her going to work in a strip club. During the argument, Morin allegedly grabbed his girlfriend by the throat and started choking her. Morin eventually released his grip and grabbed her closely by the shoulders. He then bit his girlfriend’s nose and tore off a piece before he fled from the scene, the affidavit said.
How much was his bond? Morin was charged with Aggravated Assault-SBI and is in the Bexar County Jail on a $75,000.00 bond.
