Guadalupe River On The Rise

With the recent rains throughout the State there will be a significant rise in the Guadalupe River.  The National Weather Service expects the river to rise above flood stage Monday afternoon at around 28.3 feet.  With a flood level of 28.3 feet, should NOT threaten any low lying neighborhood.  However residents should monitor local media in case the river  rises higher than expected.  Riverside park will be closed Monday until the river drops to a safe level and the staff has inspected the park for damages.  Please do not call 911 for flood information, and of course you can keep it here on KIXS 108 for the latest information.
