Fifth Largest Jackpot in Texas Lotto History Sold in Austin
It appears that the recent hotspot for big wins is in Austin, Texas. Just last week a $1 million winning ticket was sold at 7-11 in Austin. However, the latest win makes that prize look like chump change.
The win is the fifth largest jackpot in Texas lottery history.
The Texas Lottery confirms a winning Lotto Texas ticket was sold in north Austin was worth the $83.5 million prize from Monday night's drawing. The winning ticket was sold at the Winners Corner TX LLC store on Rockwood Lane.
The lucky winner selected their own numbers and didn't use a quick pick. They matched all six numbers in Monday's Lotto Texas drawing which were 19, 21, 25, 45, 47, 52 and selected the Cash Option.

The store that sold the winning ticket, Winners Corner, is a part of a big investigation that started in 2023. A group of investors pooled together $26 million and bought every number combination that could be bought and ended up winning that jackpot. Read about the scandal by clicking here.
