BUSTED: Woman Hides 2 Massive Bags Full of Fentanyl in Her Rectum
We've seen drugs come into Texas through gas tanks, pickle jars, peanut shells, and of course, hidden in body parts. Smugglers can get really creative when trying to bring a product into the Lone Star State.
Recently, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers in Texas have had a massive seizure. Over the course of only 72 hours, 4 separate inspections had officers confiscating a huge mixture of narcotics including
- fentanyl
- methamphetamine
- heroin
- cocaine
THE FIRST STOP
Border patrol at the Ysleta border arrested a 34-year-old female and 28-year-old male after finding .44 pounds of fentanyl. The woman had voluntarily admitted to carrying narcotics, she then removed two huge bundles of fentanyl pills from her rectal cavity. The male was also arrested after finding another bag full of fentanyl inside their vehicle.
THE SECOND STOP
The very next day at the Paso Del Norte border officers had another huge bust, this time cocaine. Canine picked up on an 18-year-old U.S. citizen who had an astounding 36.4 pounds of cocaine hidden within his car.
THE THIRD STOP
Just one hour later at the Bridge of America's border crossing a mixture of hard narcotics was seized. A 53-year-old female Mexican citizen had massive amounts of drugs hidden thought out her car. A total of 21.12 pounds of methamphetamine, 12.72 pounds of fentanyl, and 2.33 pounds of heroin were confiscated.
THE FOURTH STOP
It all came full circle when officers back at the Ysleta border crossing blocked 14.41 pounds of fentanyl from coming into the United States. A 28-year-old female U.S. citizen had multiple bundles of the drug hidden throughout the car she was driving following.
