February is Warrant Resolution Month in Victoria
The City of Victoria Municipal Court will offer multiple dockets in February to give residents the opportunity to resolve their outstanding warrants without being arrested.
The court will host an additional virtual docket at 9 a.m. Feb. 1 along with the regularly scheduled virtual docket 1 p.m. Feb. 26. Residents can check in before the session begins by visiting www.victoriatx.gov/municipalcourt and clicking “E-Court Appearance.”
The court will host an in-person docket 9-11 a.m. Feb. 26 at the courtroom, 107 W. Juan Linn St.
The court will also hold an outreach docket at the Victoria Mall, 7800 N. Navarro St., in the community room (near the food court) 5-7 p.m. Feb. 11.
Both the in-person docket and the outreach docket are come-and-go events. For the virtual dockets, attendees must check in before the session begins.
These sessions are part of Warrant Resolution Month, a yearly effort to encourage those with outstanding warrants to speak with a judge or prosecutor to discuss resolution options.
Residents who are unable to attend one of the upcoming court sessions should contact the court at 361-485-3050 or courtclerk@victoriatx.gov to discuss their cases.

City lifts Stage II drought restrictions, returns to Stage One
Under Stage One of the plan, residents are no longer required to limit their nonessential water usage. However, the City is still encouraging residents to be mindful of their water consumption and practice voluntary conservation measures.
What should residents do to conserve water?
The City of Victoria Public Works shared these water conservation tips:
- Do not over-water your lawn, especially during wet weather. An inch of water per week will keep most Texas grasses healthy.
- Switch to modern appliances that use less water.
- Sign up for the City’s free water monitoring service, WaterWise, to keep track of your water usage and catch hidden leaks and similar issues before they show up on your water bill.
To sign up for WaterWise, visit www.victoriawaterwise.com.
