Crossroads Community Band Offers Free Concert

I've told you before... Victoria is just full of pleasant surprises! One of the coolest is The Crossroads Community Band. Where else do student and adult musicians get together to practice and perform the music that was (and still is) a large part of their lives? This opportunity to perform music together is a great outlet for musical talent from all around the crossroads area. 

The Crossroads Community Band, comprised of area student and adult musicians, will perform live at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Victoria Fine Arts Center, 1002 Sam Houston Drive. According to the Victoria Advocate, admission is free and all are encouraged to attend.

Titled "All Mixed Up! An Exercise in Mixed Meter and Time Signatures," the concert will feature pieces with mixed meters showcasing various time signatures and styles.
