There will be another carnival in town this weekend alongside Memorial Weekend Bash 2015!  The new location will be over on the community center fair grounds.  The carnival will run from Thursday-Sunday and will offer wristbands on a daily basis...

Due to the recent downpours, MWB has been moved to the Community Center Fair Grounds and Arena.  This move was announced early Weds morning!  There is a river flood warning for the Guadalupe river and it will be out of it's bank in Riverside park...

Coming up next weekend it's the Memorial Weekend Bash 2015.  On Friday it is Texas Country night featuring Cody Johnson, Bri Bagwell and more. Saturday and Sunday feature Grammy award winning Tejano acts.  Tune in to the JP in the morning show starting tomorrow for your free ticket giveaways to this super family event...

It's time for the Shiner Catholic Church spring picnic on May 24, 2015.  This is the 29th annual picnic for the Catholic parish.  After the parish masses brunch will be served from 10:30am-2:00pm with a delicious three meat main course...

Just found out I will be event emceeing and djing for Bootfest 2015.  This years event will be happening on October 2nd and 3rd at Deleon Plaza.  The entertainment lineup has yet to be announced!  This will be an awesome event to be a part of :)...

This morning the KIXS crew was on another roadshow for the official grand opening of the Victoria Livestock Show.  Of course "Mr. Victoria" aka Gary Moses was in the house making his presence felt.  All of the sales girls were at the KIXS table giving all kinds of free stuff away...

On Thursday I will be on another KIXS roadshow at the Victoria Livestock Show.  Catch me on location Thursday from 12-1 as part of the ribbon cutting ceremony.  Thursday marks the "official"  start of the Livestock show! Come check out all the vendors, bring the kids out to see all the animals and of course the carnival is still going on as well...

Victoria and the crossroads area the carnival opens TONIGHT!  Check out the midway over at the Community Center fair grounds.  Open early on weekends, the carnival is the first sign the the Livestock show is in town.  So head on out to get your favorite fair food and bring back some childhood memories with the lights and sounds that the carnival brings...

As most of you in the crossroads know February is carnival time in Victoria.  I for one enjoy SOME of the rides, and then there is some that I am like NOPE!  I don't do the Zipper or Kamikaze.  The aspect that those rides came in on 18-wheelers and are put together over and over again makes me a little nervous...
