The Stephenson Unit Classic Car Show and 5k to benefit the American Cancer Society will be Saturday at 8am starting at Cuero City Park Pavillion, Leonard Roy Harmon Drive in Cuero, on highway 87 across from Wal-Mart.

Officers with the Cuero Police Department responded to an emergency call in the 200 block of East Morgan Avenue at 11:50 p.m. Sunday. Residents of the home said an unidentified Hispanic male forced his way into the home and demanded a woman in the home leave with him, according to a department news release.
