Blake Shelton picked The Voice contestant Kayley Hill for his team just seconds into her performance of Fleetwood Mac's 1977 hit "Gold Dust Woman" during the show's Blind Auditions on Monday night (Oct. 8).

Shelton couldn't hold his excitement back as the singer performed, sitting on the edge of his seat until he actually stood up, clapping along during an impressive vocal run.

He was the only coach to hit the button to turn his chair for Hill, which shocked him.

"If you couldn’t hear the Dolly in her voice, what’s the matter with you?" the country star asked his fellow The Voice coaches, Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson.

"I kept going, 'Is she a Fleetwood Mac or is she like a country?'" Clarkson asked herself after the performance.

After Hill made a mention of enjoying spending her free time using her nail gun and miter saw, Clarkson seemed even more bummed about missing out on the vocal gem, admitting later: "I should have turned around."

And in what isn't a common occurrence on the singing competition show, Levine even threw out a compliment to Shelton. "He’s a Sasquatch," he jokingly said of his fellow coach. “However, he’s a talent, big Sasquatch and I love him very much. You got a great coach.”

Also during Monday's episode, Shelton was also able to snag standout Kirk Jay for his team, despite a four chair turn for the 22-year-old. Jay gave a moving rendition of Rascal Flatts' hit "Bless the Broken Road" — the first country song he ever heard, he says.
