(News release--Gonzales Inquirer, Gonzales, Texas) • The Guadalupe River at Gonzales is expected to crest at about 1 p.m. Wednesday at 43 feet — which is classified as major flooding. Conditions could remain flooded until 1 p.m. Thursday.

Guadalupe River To Crest at Victoria Thursday
The National Weather Service forecasts a crest of 29.9 feet on the Guadalupe River to arrive in Victoria on Thursday afternoon. Emergency officials ordered a voluntary evacuation for residents of the Greens Addition effective Tuesday afternoon at 5pm.

Sacred Heart Parish Spring Picnic Sunday
The Sacred Heart Parish Spring Picnic will be at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Hallettsville Sunday starting at 10am.
