AEP Power Restoration Update
At 11 a.m. Thursday, approximately 400 electric consumers in El Campo, Bay City, Eagle Lake and Columbus remained without power after Tropical Storm Bill hit the area Tuesday morning. The number is down from 2,700 yesterday. A reported 11.5 inches of rain soaked the area when the storm made landfall.
Guadalupe River Forecast at Victoria
The Guadalupe River forecast has been revised by the National Weather Service. The current river level is 29.42 feet with the river expected to crest at 30.1 feet early Thursday afternoon.
