Here is an update of schools from around the area:

Bloomington ISD will be closed the week of March 23rd – 27th and will be used as a planning week for teachers and staff, and alternative instruction will begin on Monday, March 30th. Alternative instruction will include a combination of paper packets for students with no computers or internet access and online learning. More information will be released soon

Cuero ISD is closed beginning Monday March 23rd. Please be patient with us as we continue to work out the logistics of this transition. More details will be available soon.

Calhoun County ISD, as of right now no changes to schools schedules have been made.  City officials are meeting later today to hear updates from health professionals and key district staff. Plans will be reviewed in the case that remote learning becomes initiated in the future.

Goliad ISD will be closed the week of March 23rd-March 27th.  This is the week following spring break.  All school-related activities, including UIL athletics and academics, will be suspended during this period.  More information will be forthcoming next week.

Edna ISD will also be closed the week of March 23rd-March 27th. For now, Edna ISD plans on resuming classes on Monday, March 30th. Edna ISD will continue to monitor the Coronavirus situation in coordination with Jackson County officials and daily webinars with the Texas Education Agency.
