14 Year Old TX Teen Suspected of Quadruple Shooting Killing Three

Just a day after Christmas and a 14-year-old Texas boy is in custody, suspected of killing three and injuring another in a quadruple shooting outside of Dallas.
Over 20 rounds from a .40-caliber pistol fill the air inside the gas station in Garland Texas as a young man, caught on film, jerks open the store door and begins to fire the weapon.
His name is not released in the press report because he is a 14-year-old minor.
Sadly, the three young men he is suspected of killing while critically injuring another are also all minors.
The names of the four victims, two of whom are likely innocent bystanders have also not been released. What we do know is several families and the Garland community are likely mourning the loss of three young men whose lives were taken too soon.
Two of the boys killed were both 16 years old and had entered the store together before the shooting, as well as one 14-year-old boy who was there ordering food from the kitchen and a 15-year-old young man, who is currently listed in critical condition, who was cooking behind the counter.
At this time there are far more questions than answers.
This is chilling to watch, but surveillance cameras capture the moments leading up to the fatal shooting. Thank you to KSAT 12 for their Youtube video.
The CDC offers this shocking statistic in its Preventing Youth Violence Report.
"Homicide is the third leading cause of death for young people ages 10-24 and the leading cause of death for non-Hispanic Black or African American youth."
After the shots were fired, the suspect jumped into a white truck that was identified later and arrests were made, the families all left to try to understand the "why."
