Texas Man Sued Walmart for Unlimited Shopping for Life

Yes, you read that right! A Texas man is suing Walmart for Unlimited Shopping for Life or $100 million, According to NBC4,

Roderick Jackson, of Waskom, Texas, filed two handwritten complaints saying he was suing Walmart for an incident that took place at a store in Omaha, Nebraska, in March 2021.

Jackson sent the complaints to the United States District Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Both complaints were filed on Jan. 8 pro se, without an attorney.

Jackson claims “false pretense of shoplifting” and the other claims he “suffered civil rights violations based on race/color.”

Walmart later requested that the cases be dismissed. Citing a failure to state a proper claim and lack of jurisdiction. A judge has thrown out those two lawsuits! Jackson has appealed the judge’s decision to throw out the two cases. The handwritten appeal requests were filed on April 22.

Walmart has said since the beginning. “We do not tolerate discrimination of any kind. We are aware of Mr. Jackson’s complaint and intend to defend the company against the allegations once we have been served.”

Walmart has started drone delivery in North Texas. The drones can carry up to 2.3 pounds, "designed for over-the-counter meds, movie-night snacks or the ingredient you realize you’re missing at the last minute," a Walmart press release said.

Operating hours will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, and the new delivery service will be available to anyone within four miles of either store, including customers in neighboring cities.
