Just this week, iTunes finally revealed the full tracklisting for the long-awaited soundtrack to the highly-anticipated upcoming film, ‘The Hunger Games,’ and thankfully, a few country names made the list. We’ve known for quite some time now that Taylor Swift‘s collaboration with the Civil Wars, ‘Safe and Sound,’ would be included, and it’s actually at the top of the list.

The second song also belongs to Swift, as another new tune of hers dubbed ‘Eyes Open’ made the cut for the blockbuster-to-be. But she’s not the only country femme with a song spinning behind the film. Miranda Lambert got her wish to have a song she wrote appear on the soundtrack — ‘Run Daddy Run,’ featuring the Pistol Annies will also hit the big screen, as well as the Civil Wars’ ‘Kingdom Come’ and the Secret Sisters‘ ‘Tomorrow Will Be Kinder.’

Swift debuted her ‘Safe and Sound’ video last night (Feb. 13) in a global debut through MTV. Speaking with the network about the film and how she thinks she would handle being thrown into the middle of a similar situation, Swift was pretty candid: “Honestly, I think I would just be the person who runs and hides,” she said. Swift, who read the books herself before knowing she would be on the soundtrack, remembers when she found out she was going to write a song for the film.

“When I got the call, I thought from what I’d heard about the movie, ‘It’s an action movie, right? We’re probably going to be writing a song that’s like, We’re going to win!’” she remembers. “And then I read the book, and I thought, ‘No, we’re going to have to write sort of a death lullaby.’ It’s so different from what I thought.”

Swift wrote that beautiful death lullaby with the Civil Wars, and if you’re about to go crazy with all the anticipation of the upcoming film, you can at least watch her hauntingly fresh music video for ‘Safe and Sound’ over and over until the release.
