The University of Houston-Victoria will be open Saturday to future and prospective students who want to visit the university. The next UHV Jaguar Day will start at 10 a.m. Saturday and occur throughout the Victoria campus.
UHV is partnering with the Black History Steering Committee and Victoria College to host a poster contest, parade and festival. All events are free to attend and open to the public.
The 10th Annual Giving Tree donation drive, which is organized by the Student Government Association each year, benefits Adopt-A-Pet, Food Bank of the Golden Crescent, HOSTS (Help One Student to Succeed), Mid-Coast Family Services and the Old Landmark Committee of Victoria.
