Instead of writing new songs for his next album, Blake Shelton has taken to rewriting hits from other country music stars. Kenny Chesney‘s ‘Come Over’ and Tim McGraw‘s ‘Live Like You Were Dying’ were his two ~~victims~~ choices in the past 24 hours.

A while back I was writing about Taylor Swift and how prolific she was when it comes to songwriting. Apparently, Lady Antebellum has been busy themselves preparing their next CD. Like I said about Miss Swift, you have your entire life to write your first album... you have 6 months to write the second one. The good thing is, they have a little more time to work on the next CD.

Some songwriters depend on inspiration, others are more like craftsman. Either way, it is really hard to write quality songs day in and day out. One of my favorite quotes (and I can't remember who said it) is "you have your entire life to write your first album. You have 6 months to write the second one". That seems to be no problem for Taylor Swift.
