The Children's Discovery Museum is hosting a Community Health and Safety Day. This event is free to the public & the first 200 people will receive a grab bag. Community organizations will gather on Thursday starting at 10am to teach the Golden Crescent all about proper health and safety techniques.

Jay Richards was at one time considered 'the voice' of Victoria radio. Jay worked at KIXS 108 from 1991 to 1997. Jay had one of the best radio voices I have ever heard, and his long career in radio proves me right. Jay was in radio from 1972 until 2001. He worked all over the United States, from Saginaw, Michigan to Victoria, Texas.

The river level continues to drop after a crest of 30.19 feet at 4:30 Saturday morning, but at a very slow rate. According to NWS estimates, the water will be near 28.60 feet at midnight tonight and not will drop below 25 feet by June 5th. 2)      Voluntary
