If political campaigns were as much fun as ACM New Artist campaigns, Americans would embrace November elections like they do Grandma. Sunny Sweeney strikes first in the 2013 campaign to win the New Female Vocalist honors with a hilarious new video called 'Click in the Box.' The 'From a Table Away Singer' borrows from a popular 'Saturday Night Live' digital skit... You know, the one with the name you don't want your kids repeating?

'Click in the Box' is a PG-rated cover that encourages Sweeney's fans to go to VoteACM.com and check the box with her name in it. Voting begins on Jan. 21 and ends Feb. 4 at 3PM ET. She's up against Jana Kramer and Kacey Musgraves for the New Female Vocalist ACM, with the winner competing against the winner in the New Male and New Vocal Duo or Group categories. If 2013 is like 2012, similar videos will be appearing within the next week.

The auto-tune heavy video was shot with two backup singers in downtown Nashville. Images of LP Field and the Cumberland River set the scene for her message: "Go to your computer, or open your laptop / Find my name on the page and click in the box."

"If you wanna give me something special from the heart / Something special babe / Just click in the box," she sings.

The ridiculous nature of the lyrics is only topped by images of the Texan putting on a gangsta front to seduce fans into choosing her. The one-time stand-up comic recognizes this, and things don't go off as smooth they did for Justin Timberlake and company when they shot 'D--k in a Box' in 2008.

The 48th annual ACM Awards will air live on CBS on April 7 at 8PM ET.
