"Home game" took on a whole new meaning for a couple who went to see MLS' FC Dallas play this Fourth of July.

The soccer team presented Jerry Holcomb, a 13-year sergeant first class in the Army, with a brand new custom-build and mortgage-free house following its victory on Independence Day.

Holcomb and his family certainly deserved the home -- he served three tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and collected two Purple Hearts and a pair of Bronze Star medals. With a resume like that, you get the feeling one house isn't enough.

The house comes courtesy of Operation Finally Home, a charity that builds houses for veterans and their families.

The news certainly blew Holcomb away. Asked for reaction right after learning about his new home, he could only say, "I'm lost for words."

Here's wishing the Holcombs many years of joy in their new home.
