The Texas AgXchange, a Robstown farm and ranch show, takes place Oct. 4th and 5th. Produced by Minnesota-based VerticalXchange, the event is expected to draw 3,000 to 4,000 South Texas producers, according to a company news release to the Victoria Advocate. The show will feature 10 acres of outdoor exhibit space, more than 20 acres for field demonstrations, 200 indoor exhibit spaces, a hands-on education conference and a vegetable, fruit, citrus and nut section.

South Texas is an agriculturally rich and diverse region that contributes to the success of the agricultural economy, Greg Geisler, VerticalXchange's CEO, said. "We want to help create a forum for the region's farmers and ranchers that will assist them in staying informed on the latest technology available to them," he said.

The event is held in cooperation with Texas AgriLife Extension and Research and the Texas A&M System and takes place at Robstown's Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds, 1213 Terry Shamsie Blvd.
