Port O’Connor Hosts “Hawg Hunters Slam” Fishing Tournament Saturday

The 1st annual open fishing tournament, Hawg Hunters Slam, will be Saturday, Sept. 29, at Port O'Connor. Entry and registration is $500 with four anglers per  team. No guides are allowed. First place will be awarded $4,000, second is $1,000 and third $750. Teams must bring in at least one trout, one red and one flounder in order to weigh in. Registration closes Friday, Sept. 28, at 7 p.m. The first 25 boats to register will receive a free t-shirt. More rules will be given at the time of registration.
