‘Night of Old St. Nick’ in Halletsville

The Night of Old St. Nick will be at the Friench Simpson Library, 705 E. Fourth St. in Halletsville from 4-7 p.m this evening. Library patrons have donated handmade crafts, holiday decorations, small gifts, homemade baked goods, jams, jellies and sauces to raise money to supplement the library budget. Friends of the Library will serve boscotti, flavored coffees, tea, wassail and hot chocolate at the event. Pianist Denise Droad will provide holiday music and St. Nick himself, played by Roy Cavarretta, will be on hand.
