Luke Bryan shared a heartfelt story with fans during his concert at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas on Saturday evening (Oct. 22).

According to fan Alisha Michelle, who was at the show and shared the moment on Facebook, Bryan said a 13-year-old boy showed up at his meet-and-greet with a guitar and wearing a Make-A-Wish Foundation T-shirt. But the teenager didn't want to just meet Bryan and have his guitar signed — he wanted to play a song for the singer.

Michelle reports that the young cancer survivor decided to play his favorite song by Bryan, "Do I." So impressed by his performance, Bryan asked if the fan would like to perform the song onstage, to which he replied, "Yes, sir." The boy's mother would later tell Taste of Country his name is Ethan and he has cystic fibrosis, not cancer.

Later that evening, the fan took the stage and impressed the entire venue with a flawless performance. Singing the first verse and chorus alone on guitar, Bryan stood beside him, looking on like a proud father.

Bryan eventually joined in on the second verse, but made sure the spotlight was focused on the boy. As the song drew to a close, the country music superstar remained in disbelief.

"He's not even nervous! How are you not nervous? I'm nervous," Bryan commented.

Bryan is well known for being accessible to his fans. At a concert earlier this month he saw a young girl in the pit with a cast on her arm and paused his show to sign it.
