Keep America Beautiful Month

The month of April is Keep America Beautiful Month, as it should be every month in my opinion.  Earth Day is actually celebrated on April 22nd but we will talk about that later.  I am very concerned about the laziness in some people at parks and parking lots.  It really isn't that hard to clean up after yourself!

I was over at the Victoria Community Center a few weeks ago and there are baseball diamonds located next to it.  I noticed that there were beer bottles, soda cans, beer cans, and all kinds of trash in the parking lot.  The reason I have a problem with this is because there are around 6 trash cans along the fence where you go play baseball.  Is it really that hard to miss?

If you go to parking lots of a few major stores around here you will also find trash scattered.  I seriously urge everyone to keep America beautiful.  Not only during the month of April but everyday.  It really does make a difference and it looks good to the people of Victoria that we care.
