This holiday honors the famous aviation pioneer. Born on this day in 1897, Amelia Earhart broke many records including being the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic, in almost 15 hours, and solo nonstop coast to coast in just over 19 hours. Have you ever taken a 19 hour flight?  Would you ever want to flight around the world?
