FIFTY-SIX YEARS:

H-E-B just seems likes one of those places that is such a great place to work. We see so many of their employees being celebrated for their accomplishments and time with the company. However, this one takes the cake! Ofelia Garcia has worked for the H-E-B for 56 years, which makes her H-E-B's longest-running retail employee in the history of the grocery chain!  She was not only celebrated by H-E-B but also by the City of Austin which declared that Dec. 22  as Ofelia Garcia Day in the City of Austin, as reported by KVUE in Austin. FOUR MILLION MILES:

In September, H-E-B truck driver Danny Guerrero who has worked at H-E-B  for almost FOUR DECADES reached a milestone that is rarely achieved in his profession. On Sept. 28,  Guerrero hit four million miles on the road consecutively without a single accident or traffic incident. This is an achievement only one other H-E-B driver has ever reached.

THREE MILLION MILES:

Also in September, Eric Orozco logged 3 million miles on the road driving for H-E-B. . He is the 18th driver in the history of H-E-B to have ever reached this milestone and he drove every mile safely and without an accident. Impressive! To put it in perspective, 3 million miles would be like diving to the moon and back over six times.
