George Strait has announced he will play two final shows for 2018, which will take place Dec. 7 and 8 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. He'll be accompanied by special guests — and fellow Texans — Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen for the appearances.

The shows are part of his Strait to Vegas series, which started with just six shows in 2016 and was extended with 10 more in 2017. The shows in December will be the last of 2018. Strait previously announced performances in Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas in 2018 shows including May 27 at Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans; June 1 and 2 at BOK Center in Tulsa; and June 3 at Frank Erwin Center in Austin.

The three artists shared the stage earlier this month for the first shows of 2018 after initially coming together last year for Hand in Hand Texas: A Benefit for Hurricane Relief, which was a humanitarian campaign Strait organized that raised tens of millions of dollars for hurricane relief efforts.

Strait also participated in the Country Rising benefit show in Nashville, which raised an additional $4 million for victims of the hurricanes and the mass shooting in Las Vegas.

The King of Country's home state will honor him with the prestigious Texan of the Year award on March 22, in an official ceremony in New Braunfels, Texas,

Tickets for his final Vegas shows of 2018 go on sale Apr. 6. The country icon boasts an incomparable career that spans more than three decades and includes more than 60 No. 1 hits, sales of 70 million albums and countless CMA and ACM Awards.
