Dierks Bentley finds himself back at No. 1 this week, as his latest single ‘Home’ tops the country singles chart. ‘Home’ marks Bentley’s second consecutive No. 1 single and ninth career chart-topper, following ‘What Was I Thinkin’,’ ‘Come a Little Closer,’ ‘Settle for a Slowdown,’ ‘Every Mile a Memory,’ ‘Free and Easy (Down the Road I Go),’ ‘Feel That Fire,’ ‘Sideways’ and ‘Am I the Only One.’

Like his previous eight No. 1 hits, Bentley took part in writing ‘Home,’ this time along with Brett Beavers and Dan Wilson. The tune became an instant hit with his fans coast-to-coast, as they embraced the song which became their anthem just weeks after its initial release.

“It’s been so cool to see fans reacting to this song on the road,” says Bentley. “The idea of ‘Home’ and what that means to different people has been really inspiring. I’m really proud to have written this song with my friends Brett Beavers and Dan Wilson, and it’s extra special for me personally to be part of Dan’s first No. one hit on the country charts!”

In addition to being a No. 1 song, ‘Home’ is also nominated for Song of the Year at next month’s ACM Awards, which airs live from Las Vegas on April 1 at 8:00PM ET on CBS.

Bentley is currently trekking across Australia on his 2012 Country and Cold Cans Tour and will return to the states for a 20-city spring run beginning next month. Click here for a complete list of Bentley’s tour dates.
