Did SNL Take It Too Far?

We have all heard by now about the one they call Tim Tebow.  Either you love him or you hate him.  I'm still not sure what to think about him, to be honest.  There have been people poking fun at him for his love of Jesus.  He shows it publicly and doesn't care what people think about it.

Saturday Night Live did a skit over the weekend about the whole deal and it was actually really funny.  Did they go too far though to actually bring out a "Jesus" character?  You see a lot worse on television these days and it is late night TV.  I personally don't think so but what do you think?
