St. Joseph High School is hosting “A Closer Look at STJ” from 6:15-7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 16th. Prospective students and their parents can take a campus tour and learn about advanced placement/dual credit courses, tuition assistance, athletics, St. Joseph High School summer camp registration, and have ice cream sundaes with the Flyer Family.

You would think with the way technology has advanced in recent years it would be pretty easy for students to find a way to cheat. Well, you'd be wrong.

Since last year, Lady Antebellum have been granting wishes for their fans through their '7FOR7' initiative. Named after their most recent album, 747, the idea is surprising fans with items they have been hoping for — the band's heartfelt way of giving back to those who have wholeheartedly supported them.

Victoria East Cheerleading Booster Club will be hosting its 5th Annual Pink Out  on Oct 31, 2014 at 7pm at Memorial Stadium during the East vs Calallen football game.

Bloomington will have an All Class Community Reunion from 3-11 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Hermann Sons Hall on U.S. Highway 87 South in DaCosta, about seven miles from Victoria.

A Vocational Nursing Program information session will be from 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday at the Zelda L. Allen School of Nursing, 1410 N. Texana St., in Hallettsville. The information session will address new prerequisites and requirements, information about the program, costs for the program, and financial aid.
