Back at it again today, today we visited Laurie Garcia at the DPS office.  She registered for the KIXS birthday celebration giveaway.  She was listening to KIXS 108 when we walked it, so she got to choose from those colorful envelopes...

Jay Richards was at one time considered 'the voice' of Victoria radio. Jay worked at KIXS 108 from 1991 to 1997. Jay had one of the best radio voices I have ever heard, and his long career in radio proves me right. Jay was in radio from 1972 until 2001. He worked all over the United States, from Saginaw, Michigan to Victoria, Texas.

Today's Birthdays celebration winner was Summer Lumpkins.  We surprised her at her place of employment and she was listening to KIXS 108!  She  won a delicious cake from our friends at Halepaska's! Inside her envelope was a gift card to the Woodhouse Day Spa valued at $50...

Dave Winston worked at KIXS 108 from 1987 to 1998. Dave did mornings, afternoons, and everything in between. He was also the Program Director and Music Director for much of that time. I came to work at KIXS 108 in June of 1997. Dave Winston is the man that hired me. Here's the story;
