Dog owners love to dress up their dogs. It's a fact. Please, just remember, some dogs like it and some dogs don't. If your dog likes it, this is for you. There will be a 'dog costume contest' at The Girl Scout Office, 104 West River Street in Victoria, Sunday at 6pm.

"Rock & Rescue" will take place at the  Dorothy O’Connor Pet Adoption Center, 135 Progress Drive, Saturday, August 1st. Gates open at 7pm. Admission is a $10 or larger donation to the center. Live music by No Chance Band from 8pm to 10pm.

Bark for the Park is a fundraiser for the future Dog Park planned for Riverside Park. It starts at 8am Saturday at the Special Events Area at Riverside Park, 311 Memorial Drive in Victoria.
