All UHV SBDC workshops are open to the public, you do not need to be a UHV SBDC client to attend. These modules can be taken in any order and are offered at no-charge as a way to make valuable information available at your convenience.

The University of Houston-Victoria Work Group will brief the community on its proposal to make UHV a self-sustaining four-year destination university and listen to comments during an Aug. 5 meeting. The meeting will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. in the UHV University Center Multi-Purpose Room, 3007 N. Ben Wilson St.

Victoria County Aggie Moms invite you and your family to the 2014 Howdy Party at 6:30 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, building A. 6:30 p.m. - registration, followed by dinner and meeting. RSVP is requested. Please bring a vegetable or dessert dish to share. Aggie Moms will provide fried chicken and drinks.

The University of Houston System, in support of a directive from the Board of Regents to bolster initiatives to make the University of Houston-Victoria (UHV) a destination university, has purchased strategic acreage immediately across from UHV for future campus expansion.

A time to relax, socialize and paint - where it is about fun art - not fine art! Adult classes will be held every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening from 6:30-9 p.m. at Gallery 313 Rio (313 Rio St. in Victoria). Each adult class is $25, which includes canvas and paints and an appetizer table available.

You're invited to a Business Law Basics Workshop at the UHV Small Business Development Center on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.. This workshop covers Choice of Legal Entity (corporations, LLC, partnership, etc.); Intellectual Property; Employee issues; and Real Estate issues. Seating is limited; all UHV SBDC workshops are open to the public. There is no fee to attend.
