Now her biggest concern is that she will not be alive to spend another Mother’s Day with her 11-year-old son, even though there is a trial drug in the works that could help prolong her life.
The economy has made it practically impossible to get a job in some corners of the country. Some, however, have had an easier time than others at creating opportunities for the unemployed to become employed once again.
We would never trade our mothers for any other person in the world. That’s because we love them to death, owe them big time for all the love and attention they gave us as children, and would not have become the people we are today without their care and dedication. That’s also because the laws of time, space and physics don’t allow such a thing to be done.
Of course, if such a thing could be done, we would have a hard time choosing a mother to replace the one we’ve got. The bar would have to be set pretty high just to weed out the potential candidates. These awesome celeb moms would certainly pass that bar, but not by much.
The word “unemployment” gets thrown around a lot during tough times and especially during major elections when it’s easy to throw a number on a situation that affects a lot of people.
It’s easy to forget, though, that being unemployed can affect a lot more than a person’s bottom line.
Multitasking may often mean that we sometimes do too many things just “okay,” as opposed to a few things “very well.” But studies show that doing a lot at once makes us feel good, hence why we engage in such behavior.

That may not actually be the case, however.
Unemployment might be high, but confidence is returning to the job market in ways other than companies that are willing to spend extra money for extravagances like working bathrooms and pencils.
