It's rodeo season in Texas! Seems like, around here, you hear more about the Houston rodeo than any other. But there's a great rodeo in San Antonio that's filled with fun and tradition. The San Antonio rodeo has a great lineup of big-time talent year in and year out. Take, for example, Alan Jackson. You can't get any more big-time than that.

Alan Jackson broke the all-time attendance record for the San Antonio Rodeo last week. The singer played to nearly 17,000 fans, which marked the largest crowd in the history of the Rodeo. Jackson told CMT Daily Roundup, “You just can’t say enough about country music fans. At least mine, for anyway I’ve had fans who have to have a walker to get to the show and some who have to have their momma carry them there. I’ve got this wide range of fans and they’ll be doctors and farmers, you know, it’s just amazing.” Alan performed his latest single, “So You Don’t Have To Love Me Anymore.” The song is the latest release from Alan’s new album, which is due out later this year.

You can hear Alan Jackson every day on KIXS 108.
