Alabama have announced their touring plans for 2018. The groundbreaking country-rock group will hit the road for a tour that encompasses all of their greatest hits, beginning on March 24 in Texas.

Alabama's the Hits Tour will showcase the group's 43 No. 1 singles. Their biggest hits include "Mountain Music," "Tennessee River," "Feels So Right," "The Closer You Get," "There's No Way" and many more.

The band have announced 22 dates spanning from March to September.

"This year's tour is for the lifelong fans, and also the younger generations just now discovering the music,” Alabama singer Randy Owen says in a press release.

"The band is having fun, selling tickets, and sounding unbelievable vocally," Alabama's manager, Tony Conway, adds. "This tour is about the music of the past 49 years the band's 43 No. 1 singles. Alabama is still and will always be the greatest country band in American History."

The tour announcement comes one day after the groundbreaking country group —whose run of hits in the '80s helped redefine the modern face of country music — paid tribute to Charlie Daniels as one of the all-star acts on the bill at Volunteer Jam XX with a high-energy rendition of "The South's Gonna Do It." That appearance included a guest appearance from guitarist Jeff Cook, who announced his retirement from touring in 2017 due to a battle with Parkinson's disease.

Tickets for the Hits Tour are available now via Alabama's official website. Alabama will reveal additional dates as they are scheduled.
