TX Most Notorious Female Murderer Yolanda Saldivar Could Be Freed
Will Yolanda Saldivar see the light of day 30 years after murdering Tejano's brightest star?
She is arguably one of the most hated women in Texas and even if you are not from our Great State, you probably know the name Yolanda Saldivar, if not the sad story of obsession and murder that lead to the death of Tejano's brightest super star.
In 1995 Yolanda Saldivar shot and killed her employer, the Queen of Tejano, Selena Quintanilla- Perez.
Selena was at the height of her singing career, she had just recently gotten married and she was adored by fans all over the world.
Selena was only 23 years old when she lost her life.
Selena was able to run for help after she had been shot in the back and before she passed away, she was able to positively identify her killer, the former president of her fan club.
Flash forward to 2023, after spending 30 years in prison in Gatesville Texas, Yolanda Saldivar, is up for parole.
