Who Has the Fastest Wiener in Texas?
Hot diggity dog, it's October in Texas!
We all know everything is bigger in Texas, so with that in mind, Texans have to compete for which wiener is the fastest.
So, it begs the question... who has the fastest weeny anyway?
Well, there is only one way to find out! Let's race to Dachtoberfest on November 11th and see for ourselves.
We are referring to the Helotes, Texas, annual wiener dog race and festival combo known as Dachtoberfest to the uninitiated and the dirty-minded.
You didn't know we were referring to Dachtoberfest, Diamond Dachounds Rescue of Texas famous fundraiser did you?
Well, Dachtoberfest is celebrating its return in Helotes, Texas (which is just about two and a half hours from Victoria) and the perfect day trip to celebrate all things wiener and to help raise money to help rescue some fur babies too!
You've never been to Dachtoberfest? It's held on the Helotes Festival Grounds at 12132 Leslie Road in Helotes, but it's so much more than just fast wieners.
Dachtoberfest boasts food vendors of all sorts and arts and craft vendors too.
In fact, Helotes, Texas which is on the far northeast side of San Antonio is in Bexar County so you also have to option to hang with your wiener out in San Antonio or New Braunfels too.
