Watch Out: Texas Scammers Preying on Your Heart this Valentines
If you have a big heart, a heart for the holidays, or even a broken heart, be warned.
Texas scammers are preying on your emotions and stealing your money, which is absolutely heartless.
We all know that emotions run high during Valentines and scammers are counting on you to make a decision based on your feelings, not on your intellect.

Which is why authorities warn all Texans to be hyper vigilant this holiday especially when it comes to websites and catfishing.
The Better Business Bureau warns Texans and the rest of America in their latest article offering insightful information on the latest scams and how you can avoid them. You can read more about it here.
In particular be careful about romance scams.
It hurts my heart just thinking about how cold you have to be to pretend to like or even love someone just to steal from them but sadly it happens every day, not just for Valentines. The BBB offers that some of the biggest catfishing scams include red flags like the relationship moving to fast, the person never has time to meet face to face, or the BIG ONE... they ask for money.
The BB offers this advise, "Be skeptical, never send money to someone you’ve never met, don’t let wishful thinking cloud your mind, and verify that the person you’re chatting with is who they say they are."
It all comes down to trust.
Ask yourself have you ordered anything on this website before? What is the BBB rating for this business? Remember, once scammers think you trust them they go all in.
This Valentine's Day, love yourself enough to verify.
