Victory Auto Groups Athlete of the Week: Conner Kubesch
Do you know why we love Mondays?
It's because we get to celebrate young athletes and scholars throughout the Crossroads community thanks to Victory Auto Group!

This week we get to feature a celebrated senior at Cuero High School, Conner Kubesch and you better believe this young man is heading for the win in life!
Conner is a 3 year CHS track team letterman, a 2 year letterman in CHS baseball to date and a 4 year football letterman with a 1st team all district his junior year!
He has been captain of the Gobbler football team for three years.
And here is the thing, Conner doesn't leave all of his grit and determination on the fields in Cuero. He is also a member of the National Honor Society, and volunteers for his community and church often.
He has impressed so many. Just check out what was said about Conner on the nomination page.
"The reason for this nomination is not because of one specific performance but who this young man is both on and off the field. Conner is currently ranked 8th out of 149 students, has been accepted into Texas A&M's College of Engineering and currently a starter on both sides of the field for the Cuero Gobbler Football team! This year alone, he has come back from a torn MCL in the first game of the season, to help lead the Gobblers to a dominant Area Championship win. He is a starter on both sides of the ball, a senior leader and captain, and has scored a touchdown in both playoff games! Watching from the stands, you can tell Conner is hard working, coachable, and a gracious team player. From the high fives, to the going out of the way to congratulate or encourage a teammate is just part of who he is. But, what impresses me most, is when he is off the field, you can find him supporting and cheering on his 3 younger sisters at their sporting events. Just the other day, after a pep rally, he made the decision to come support his junior high sister at her basketball game. Although this is just one instance, it has happened many times throughout his high school career. Not many 18 year olds would show up like this! He shows up and puts family and God first! This young man is so deserving of the scholar athlete of the week and is an outstanding example of who we want young boys to look up to and aspire to be like."
Conner, you are an inspiration young man and on behalf of everyine here at Townsquare Media and Victory Auto Group, we wish you the absolute best!
Conner has won a $50 gift card from Victory Auto Group and is now in the running for one of two Victory Auto Group scholarships values at $1250.00.
