Seaux Cajun Food Truck Finds Home In Historic Victoria Building

Over the past nine years, the Seaux Cajun food truck has become a staple for Cajun-style food in Victoria, especially when it comes to their gumbo and Étouffée. And now they are looking ahead to the future by establishing a permanent location!

In a recent post to Facebook, Seaux Cajun posted a sign that says, "coming soon" on a local building. If you are from Victoria, you already know that it was the Olde Victoria Restaurant from back in the day.

Seaux Cajun's permanent location is expected to open in October.

Tammy Elkins shared that she was ready to move on from the food truck and hopes to have the new location open by the beginning of October. For the remainder of the year, the new Seaux Cajun location will be open for breakfast and lunch.

Thanks to Tammy, we get a sneak peek at some of the renovations. It looks awesome. I can't wait for crawfish season.

For many of us in Victoria, that building holds special memories from Olde Victoria. From homecoming and prom dates, to engagement parties, or just a special meal at one of Victoria's nicest restaurants.

It was a jewel in downtown Victoria, and it's back for our next generation. There will even be a special place on a wall that will state, "if these walls could talk."
