Victoria Police to Raise Money for Children

To raise money for the Children's Miracle Network and Santa Rosa Children's Hospital in San Antonio, several Victoria police officers are taking a seat on the dunk tank at the Dunk-a-Cop event at Wal-Mart, 4001 Houston Highway on Saturday. The officers will wear a full uniform complete with a duty belt and a hat.

Each throw costs $1, and all proceeds will be donated, store manager Michael Hohertz told the Victoria Advocate. The event is part of a fundraiser celebrated at all Wal-Mart locations.
