Victoria Jaycees Labor Day Cookoff

The Victoria Jaycees Labor Day Cookoff will be Friday, August 31st at noon in the Special Events Area at Riverside Park. Entry fees range from free to $150. This is an IBCA sanctioned event that includes the following categories;

Brisket • Spare Ribs • Chicken Entry Fee $120
Jack Pots – Margaritas, Bloody Mary’s, Beans, Desserts.
$15 each – Up to 4 entries per team

Judging Times for Entries: August 31, 2012 Margaritas 9:00 pm
September 1, 2012: Bloody Mary’s 9:30 am • Beans 10:30 am • Chicken 12 Noon
Pork Spare Ribs 1:30 pm • Brisket 3:00 pm • Dessert 4:00 pm

* Electricity and Water will be provided
* RV/Campers are allowed in special events area Friday – Saturday
* Vehicles are allowed until 7pm Friday and beginning at 7 pm Saturday
* All items need to be removed from Special Events area by Saturday 11 pm

Grand Champion and Reserve Award will be given, along with Showmanship.
Showmanship, Grand and Reserve will receive no money, only a plaque.
Money for meats – $350 1st place meats, $250 2nd place, $200 3rd place.
Jackpots – 80% to 1st place.
